Are the proxies from HMA actually ran by HMA or just an accumulation of proxies they've found?

if you are talking about HMA Premium proxy list then it's just a public scraped ips not owned by them and crap as they sent out to thousands of users.
If you want best results get private proxies are best and stable and anonymous as well

HMA list daily shared are public working Proxies not their own ip's

Don't use them for nothing, expect for fun to look at Mon-IP.com if your IP has changed or not.
