Hit SERPs like a Boss!

Everyone talking about getting links, buying giant packages, PR, scrapebox, blah blah blah.
IT ALL WORKS AND I DO IT . . . . BUT

the first thing anyone should do after building a site is go to the keyword SERPs for what your after and take em like a boss. What would a boss do?

First he'd look at the top 50-100 results and look for opportunity.

Find blogs that are open to comments. Post his link up.

Find sites that are not profitable (Video -like Youtube, Wiki's)
-edit that wiki ever so subtle and sneak a link in to a page on your site you just created that looks like you are an authority on the subject
-contact that kid who put up the YT vid, and buy a link in desc. Won't do it post a comment. Get the next vid.

Find sites that are open to leaking juice (Web 2.0 shit)
-bust on tumblr and repost their site with your tumblr name as the keyword . . then redirect that to your site
-Bust up that Squidoo, Hubpage, etc. comment it . . buy it, or buy a link on it.

Hit up the guys who rank on the top 2 pages. . send them an email and offer to buy a link. How bout a pre sell page (where you buy a page on their site that you write the content of and you link out to you) on their site.

Won't sell a link. . fine . . how bout a little tiny banner ad on the bottom of the page (makes more than their shitty adsense). cool it goes up. . and then 302 that to your site, or iframe the Ad on your URL. . . its a backlink get it.

Take down your competition if they are doing something you can get removed. I had and adult site on a blogger onetime turning $1k/mo and the guy below me flagged me . . .LIKE A BOSS, and got a warning page put up on it. . yeah i got slapped in the SERPs to oblivion . . i was pissed at the time, BUT he acted like a boss and i learned.

Is google News ranking? Oh yeah get a news article written up . . . pay someone to SEO that proper and get it up. It will sit front page for a few hours to up to a week. . . and it feeds link juice to your future, and prolly a few sales to pay for itself.

I could go on and on. . and talk about a lot of what ifs . . like what if a twitter feed is on the first page of SERPs or what if what if what if. . .

The point of the thread is to get you thinking like a boss, here is a little motivation for you.. .

Nice idea. It will work for sure. The problem is where you have to hit up people for links...I don't like to depend on other people for my success which is the only limitation I can see with your method. Like I said, nice idea.

Your post is inspirational for the passive types that need to learn a lesson or two on being more aggressive in seeking success.

the thing is people think you need a ton of backlinks all that jazz, to be honest we have hardly done anything, and the site have been in 4th to 7th spot on pg 1 in google, bing yahoo for 2 weeks now, i have just applied my adsense the other day, and making from 2-9 bucks a day on the one site, will be appling adsense to the other site this week.

If you're going manual then you definitely need to do like you explained and go for quality/niche links rather than volume. This strategy will work by itself almost everytime.

My main point is to get people thinking a bit more. A lot of people are spamming up shit links all over the place (i am too) but they aren't getting these vitally important low lying links that can taken or bought for cheap. If all you do is buy shit links. . . you may rank for a bit, get deindexed, etc. blah blah. . if you have 10-15 links off the top 20 sites in your niche. . it says a lot about what your site is in the eyes of the God.

It's true, those sorts of links are actually priceless!

bang on the money, not puttin any of the software down, but they are actually spamming good directries, bookmarks etc and bringing them down, so the link it not doing any good, it will for a bit but then is pretty much useless, sure your posting on a rank 6-9 site but you dont think google know about all these spammin tools, this is why the new changes are going on, and its going to make a big difference between, manual and auto submission
