I am doing some rep management, and i wonder if historic press releases were possible? Such as the press release is dated Jan 2010 for example?

As long as your rep management skills are as "epic" as that press release is "historic" anything is possible bro.

hahahaha, so you can change the declaration of independence and publish an article on the year 0 about how Jesus skated on water rather than walked?

Honestly, money could probably do this for you, but I doubt any reputable newspaper would allow you to do so; maybe some dodgy ass companies do, who knows.

Just splatter that date on the release, hire someone to blast it out and hope it'll catch on as pre-dated. If people don't ring alarm bells in the first few days of the release being out there then it may pass.

That might work. Do you recommend anyone who could do this, or is it going through the BST section?

I doubt any legitimate press release site is going to allow you to do that. Your probably better off just creating a bunch of web 2.0s or wordpress blogs tossing up some content and back dating the posts. Then spam them to get them indexed and ranking.
