Hi, I have been asked is there any way to find out the G oogle positions of a website from the past, say a year ago compared to today?

SE ranking ,MOZ these are the tools are used to find out the position of website, its paid one but you can get trial version you can try this.............

No, you can't find out rankings from the past using a tool except the webmaster tools (and only if your site was added there at that time! )

Moz is only tracking positions for as long as you are a member

Yes, this can be done using

They not only provide the information for google, but also for yahoo and bing
