(Hiring Gone Wrong) Facebook Ads Account Question

A friend hired a Facebook guy for his company and is not spending what he said and fluffing the reports.

My buddy wants to see his facebooks stats but the guy said with the other accounts in his account he can’t give him access.

if there a step by step way we can give him just to extract the data for my friends company, I can’t help him as I don’t spend much time in Facebook ads accounts

basically we want to show him it is possible and if he won’t do it there are other options to deal with the issue.

so you Facebook ad masters how do you extract info for clients when using your own ad accounts?

We all know screen shots work, but is there a way to download all info for a report you guys send? He wants the over all numbers as well as the monthly if possible

i can throw $5 at a guy if he wants to write out the steps for me

That service provider can give FB Ads share access in the level of "Ad account analyst" : Analysts can view ads and access reports.

does this only show the work for 1 company or all company’s in the account?

and can it be extracted or just viewed when added to account?

Usually such service providers use Facebook Business Manager which has sub-accounts within it : so a sub-account per client.
And hence that service provider can provide "Ad account analyst" level of share access : Analysts can view ads and access reports.
There is also an option for Facebook Ads Reports to be created, exported and shared with a client and this can be done without providing any level of account access. And Facebook Ads Reporting can be done even in a campaign level incase more than one campaign (for different clients) are being run a sub-account.

He can share the "Ad account analyst" role of a specified account. So your friend will be able to see only the stats from that account.

Maybe the guy that's doing Ads for him is running ads for more people in 1 ad accounts and that's why he cannot share access. Most people are creating 1 add account for each client so it won't get messy.
