Hiring Commission only based sales people

Does anyone have any advice or experience with hiring commission only based sales people to make a few hours of cold calls a day/week to get more web design clients?

Any UK advice in particular would be brilliant too.

A lot of young people will apply because they have less to lose. You may get a few seasoned sales people applying if they can see a good opportunity but these roles usually attract young people still living at home. If you can find a gun with a glittering resume offer them more commission than normal. You might find that you will get what you pay for in this situation.

Are you based in th UK? i can help you witth promotion in west midland area but not via cold calling .....

You need to offer a good value for your sales people. I have a few local sales people working on commission but am now looking for more online callers. Offer them a good deal and you can get some good people.

What do you offer them? Tiered payouts for bigger deals closed?
