Hiring coders question

Hello,


Got couple questions of hiring a coder. I want to hire someone who can do the code like sweetleaks.com (RETWEET AND FAVORITE MY TWEETS) and I can put it on my own website for myself to use.


But, ..


- How do I know I pay for him within the price range in the market?
- How do I know that coder have a good reputation?
- If the coder sells me bad code and run away getting my money, what should I do?

You have collect and analyse the coding and his history of coding he delivered. Then the quality of his done will be revealed and you can get score about him.

Hire from sites where coders have reputation - upwork for example. If you dont have any experience in this area, your best bet is to hire someone who has worked for more than 200-300 hours, and has 4-5 star ratings. Read reviews of previous clients.

If your project is a long-term one, create a BitBucket account and repository (Youtube videos how to make one ,real easy) and add your coder to it when you hire him. Then tell him to do daily commits (saving his progress daily to the website). That way, if he disappears after a few weeks, you can hire someone else to finish it instead of starting from scratch.

You should write full detailed task with sub-tasks for him at first. At the next step, you can try discuss with 2-3 dev's about cost and time for development. It is not easy way - but right )

You ask many people able to provide this service and get an idea for what it will cost, so if someone comes in at way over the odds you know. Every job is different, its not like you are buying a product on a shelf. All of the will give you a bespoke price for something like this.

- How do I know that coder have a good reputation?
Look for people with reputation... reviews, experience, referrals, testimonials from clients are all good things to look at.

- If the coder sells me bad code and run away getting my money, what should I do?
Lock yourself in a room and cry. Otherwise set up a payment plan with milestones so certain amounts are paid when certain stages of the project is complete.

You must have to hire an experienced and mature coder for reliable working.
You have to collect all data about him.
You must have to check codes first and then pay him.
