Opinions sought on another potentially brilliant/disastrous idea. Feel free to correct my foolish ways.
I've got a client with a good story and a possible fundraising option.
I have set up a gofund/paypal/patreon and don't want to handle all the usual begging that comes with the territory.
I had the idea of hiring a person as the fundraising manager and paying them 25% cut, like the charities do.
I doubt this will be big money, the target's really whatever comes in.
This idea came to me as I started looking to hire a Social Media Manager to deal with the web stuff. I'm already benefiting from the BHW community's marketplace.
The main thing for me is that I cannot spread myself thinner to manage yet another platform/process as I am already at almost full capacity and will do a half assed job at it. Therefore it seemed more logical to sub it out and take a cut rather than ignore it due to time pressure.
I'm leaning to the side of this being a Silly Bloody Idea but I'd be glad to get any vibes from you lot.
