Hire Telemarketing Assistant?

Anybody got any good advice or tips on where to find a cheap, preferably performance based telemarketer?

Literally looking for an individual to ring round a predetermined list from a script pushing a service/venture.

Not sure how it would work with hiring some random with phone costs etc.

If you have done this sort of thing before please recommend a good company to work with or how you went about employing someone.

I use telemarketers constantly. I have found them on CL as well as Sales Gravy. Sales Gravy does charge for their service buy I have had extremely good luck with it.

The key in finding telemarketers is going in with the mindset of "sorting". You will hire a number of them for commission only performance, you will train them and if you're lucky, one of them will work out.

What I've done to speed up the training process for my new hires is to record a training on free conference call... then as I hire people I just give them the playback number and they can call in and listen to the training.

The key to finding someone who is serious is to advertise "work from home", but emphasise that this is a REAL position... not some envelope stuffing job. Or advertise "inside sales".

You can find good people... but it takes a little time and patience.
