"Abki Baar Modi Sarkar..."
Hey Thanks Einstein, But OF COURSE i did that first (Duhh!)
I figured I'd asked an ACTUAL Hindi speaker and NOT Google (where have the answers come from Westerner's interpretations...)
I Think It Means "This Time Its Modi's Government"....
I Am Not A Native Hindi Speaker So Pls Correct Me If I Am Wrong..
Any HINDI speakers?
Its a promotional slogan going for BJP government during elections under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Congress formed India's government in the last decade, and hence the slogan abki baar modi sarkar denotes that this time it will be BJP's government.
PS: BJP has already won the elections in India with majority and Narendra Modi has already taken oath as PM of India.
You can read about him on wikipedia.
While that's true, the real meaning is "Doesn't matter which government you elect, you will be f#%$ed for the next 5 years".
abki baar => this time
modi => modi (narendra modi =>person=>PM of India)
sarkar => government
Separate names with a comma.
