Abandoned because I'm predicting the future. People seem to have a tendency to just leave their journey threads. At least with mine you can't say you didn't see it coming.

I've been doing various IM since High school, hence my username and join date. Right now I've got some blackhat methods earning me a record $3-4 a day on autopilot. I decided that black hat methods weren't for me, so I started looking towards grey/white hat niches. Enter the world of clickbank.

Method: Using Meathead's Clickbank method that he said would help noobs get $100/day easily.
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/359445-easy-100-day-perfect-noobs-82.html

If you ask me a question or PM me a question that can be answered somewhere in those 83 pages, I'm probably gonna ignore it. I made the time to read the thread TWICE now.

I started it about 2 weeks ago now and have been averaging $50/day, peaked at $150 in one day two days ago. The method involves advertising clickbank products via your "neutral" review site on blogs, forums, news articles etc. I've been doing so but only had one FB acc and couldn't post on Discus. Now that I'm getting more serious, I decided to make a journey thread...or rather a journal thread of my thoughts going through the method.

I will probably do weekly guaranteed updates on Sundays a long with sporadic updates without a week depending on how much time I feel like spending updating people.

I've read through the thread twice and people seem to:

1. Give up around the 2 week mark I've just reached only to find they made money down the line
2. Have good success for a few weeks and then stop posting in the thread altogether

To help me combat this mentality, I'm limiting myself to only logging in to clickbank/google analytics to check my stats and revenue once a day, in the mornings. Since I've already done that today, I can't post my current stats for you guys but I believe I'm a little bit above $450 in 2 weeks since I started. I also notice not a lot of people are utilizing his forum posting method since it's mostly for long term. I don't allow myself to go to bed without having made 5-10 posts on each forum I'm registered on. When I hit 30-50 quality posts, I start dropping my review site links wherever applicable and also add the site link to my signature on the forums.

Today I spent about an hour or so looking for a good VPN service so that I could start posting links on Disqus, which has a very efficient auto-ban feature for people posting site links. After playing around, I managed to get past the filter using my VPN as well as adding my review site link to my profile INSTEAD OF as my profile name (seems to make all posts autodetect as spam) or in side the post as well (same detail). Going to spend the rest of the day commenting.

Good luck with your journey man! You seem to have the method all put in place, now it is just time to scale it up. Do you have a goal with this journey by the way? Seems like you either forgot to add it or just doesn't have a specific goal.

Either way, best of luck!

Best,

Decided on weekly updates.

This has been a week of experimentation for me, changing around commenting style and websites. Learned that the age old adage is true...if it ain't broke...

My old website (that started making me money immediately) is however banned from Disqus, so I will now be advertising both. I'll keep the old site to cater to a certain demographic and use the new one to cater to a completely different one.

Old Site

After two weeks of this, old site is ranking well in SEO (although that's not this method's main goal).

Monthly searches for most of these terms are pretty low since I go for low gravity products on clickbank so it's easier for me to dominate. Goal now is to conquer the 590 monthly searched one, that'll bring in some good passive income.

New Site

Have not started monitoring it for SEO rankings, I'd just be disappointed since it's really new. Going to have to find the right niches to advertise on this site due to it appealing to a certain demographic.
