As I browse through most posts, I only really read the replies from the OP but most of the time it's hard to tell which are posts from the OP, and I rarely read or remember the posters name. Do you think it would be a good idea to set the background to a different shade for authors replies? (I am using the white skin).

Actually, that is a good idea, especially when you are looking at BST's. I don't really have a problem remembering the posters name, but I still miss them when I scroll.
