Higher DA = More Traffic?

So after I bought some links with high DA, my DA has gone up from the low 20's to the low 30's.

Should I be expecting to be doing better in the SERPs now?

Not unless your rank went up too. DA is meaningless.

Generally, an increase in DA should lead to an increase in rankings if you have a solid strategy, but it doesn't always happen and is not guaranteed. Start tracking your rankings using Serpbook if you want to get an idea of how well your site is performing.

Hey mate,
Dont think for Higher DA = More traffic.

Think like Great Content = High DA = High PR = More traffic.
So you write the quality content.

DA is useless.

Look for Moz's new metric to launch next month, which they are dubbing as MA. (Mustache Authority)

While it makes no fucking sense, expect the SEO circle jerk club to start selling links based on this new amazing metric that is random and has nothing to do with ranking signals. Get in early, load up GSA and get your mustache authority cranking!

DA is a metric that can be easily manipulated, so it really depends on the backlink profile of the sites that you have obtained links from. If that DA has been created by spamming it with lots of low quality links like blog comments, for example, then it is not going to be so good to have.
