I have a site that is currently bringing in around 20,000k views/month for a high priced service ($500-$40,000)
My clients are mostly young and artsy type designers and musicians and just all around creative types.

I have been considering switching to a free-version for some of the visitors that cannot afford my services but still
obsessively try to beg me for them. As i am the only provider of this in-demand service, I think i would have a
ridiculously high conversion rate for surveys and free signups in a content locker configuration in exchange for a
freemium version of my service.

I have done some math and i would need to make at least $20/per signup in order for my idea to make financial sense.
My question is this...is this figure reasonable for some sort of survey or signup program and if so, can anyone recommend
a good and most importantly trustworthy Network that will not shave or cheat and pays reliably?

I am willing to use someones aff link as long as the conditions are met and its a stable payout.

Personally, I would offer a lower-priced service (with fewer benefits, of course) for the people who can't afford your high-end service. In my opinion, using surveys and CPA offers to offset the cost of providing "freemium" services might actually hurt your business reputation, as most of these offers are misleading at best. They often do end up costing the consumer money, which they could have spent on your services.

Although that kinda of bursts my bubble a little i do appreciate your input and it makes sense. Thanks

Also, to make that much off of CPA for each user they would either have to fill out multiple high-paying offers. The CPA offers with high payouts are generally offers that are hard to convert because the conversion doesn't take place until the user is 3 or 4 pages deep.

From my experience, the offers with high payouts that don't require a cc number are either extremely annoying for the user or they are intrusive, asking for personal info etc.

CPA isn't right for you if you need $20 per.

It's possible. There are incentive offers that pay about that much, such as credit reports, but you're going to be limited mainly to US offers. Otherwise you can have users complete more than one offer to reach a certain earnings amount. While most free offers are only going to pay $1 or so, there are mobile pin submits that pay up to and over $10. Problem there is that most incent mobiles are not for the US, due to regulatory issues.
But if users are willing to take their time, maybe even sign up a quick account so they can come back later and complete more offers, it's definitely possible with free email/address submits.
