High ticket amazon products?

Wondering if anyone has experience in this.
Is it really possible to make bank off this if you manage to sell $100,000+(high ticket items) off of amazon affiliate links if the commission rate is still low? 1 high ticket item per month would yield thousands, correct me if I'm wrong if this isn't how amazon works
