High ticket amazon affiliate products

Hey fellow marketers!

What is your experience in driving traffic to amazon for really high ticket items, in my case 2,5k $ items? I believe the 24h cookie for that kind of expensive items may be too short for a lot of people, have you had better luck with add to cart links or using different affiliate websites for them?

Most of my promoted products were $500-$2000 and I did okay, but haven't pursued it recently (although still get sales) after commission cuts and issues with tracking.

Never used the add to cart feature.
