Oh man, I feel you. Been doing affiliate marketing myself for almost two decades years now, and let me tell you - the first couple years were rough. Like, painfully rough.
First off, stop trying to sell everything to everyone. Seriously. I was promoting like 20 different tools at once, and guess what? Zero conversions. Why? Because I wasn't building trust or authority in any specific area. Pick 3-5 tools MAX that you actually use and love. For me currently, it's stuff like ClickUp, HubSpot, and a few AI tools I can't live without. When you genuinely use something, your recommendations don't sound like BS.
Then create detailed case studies showing exactly how you use the tool, video walkthroughs solving real problems, comparison posts that actually help people decide. (these worked for me, at least- one case study about how I automated my client onboarding with a specific tool made me more in commissions than 6 months of random link dropping)
Stop thinking "how do I sell this tool?" Start thinking "what expensive problem does this solve?"
Example: Don't promote project management software. Promote "how to stop losing $5k/month to missed deadlines." See the difference?
What specific niche are you targeting? Because if you say "everyone who needs software," that's your problem right there.
Want to share what tools you're promoting? We can probably spot why they're not converting.
