Yes it is still possible ranking videos. High retention views is not necessary for ranking. It's all about your method, i could manage ranking videos with only %20-30 retention rate but it still depends on the keyword competition. If you do not have solid views, you should try to strengthen your method.

Can anyone here beat $75 for a monetized channel? I did rank for the title while it was running, & looks like I even got into suggested videos for a short time.
