I see two strategies possible to test out what Google is tracking now:

    1. Create very unique and unused linking templates in order to make your link structure appear different than anyone else so footprints are reduced. This will mean that if you buy linking packages, you'll need to get multiple ones from different providers instead of a single huge package. Might as well try 100% unique (not unique spin) content.

    2. Submit to every single web 2.0/bookmark/directory/social media sites you can. Completely inundate various systems with your links so even if an entire block of web 2.0s or bookmarks get devalued, you'll still have others.

Bonus 3. Redirects. Make Google eat itself. Blast a site completely and as soon as it gets hit, redirect it to another site.

I'm going to play with redirects for the next couple weeks. I haven't been hit bad by Google (yet), but so many people here are freaking out right now that I'm getting pissed off and want to either rock the boat to explode my ranking or get penalized. If I get penalized, I'll just whine that it was negative seo done by a competitor because Google apparently allows that shit now and as soon as the site comes back, redirect it when its fresh.

Cutts & Friends aren't helping make their search engine any better with these updates.

    Google has proverbially "lost it."
