I am working towards building my first PBN network and I found a way to find domains that have links from very high PR websites. If there is a non-spammy domain (PA38, DA29) with a backlink (2008) that was from a PR8 domain but that article on that PR8 domain was PR0 (PA48) is it even worth getting? It has other links where their articles are... x2 PR1 x4 PR2 Even if it is not worth picking up I can use help in the future for this next question. The backlinks for this domain that are on these websites goes to h://subdomain.domain.TLD/community/index.php?showtopic=1234 How would I 301 this? It confuses me that there is a ?showtopic=1234 in there. I would like to do this without a plugin. Thank you very much in advance.
Install a plugin called link juice keeper and it will automatically redirect all the incoming links to your homepage.
Fair enough. I will use these as Wordpress and use normal domains as another platform. Thanks you for the reply. Is that domain even worth picking up though?
Yes that domain is definitely worth picking up. Of course it is better if the pages are showing a toolbar PR but in all likelihood they have plenty of juice and authority that isn't so obvious as to be shown by the toolbar. As for 301ing them, there is bound to be a way but the question might be better asked over at Stack Overflow than here. I have done simple redirects for dynamic URLs with question marks but with subdomains and subfolders I would think there are intricacies that I don't know about.
Buy the domain name (I definitely would if I had the chance). For redirection, install a plugin called 'redirection' and redirect those dynamic urls to any page of your site within a minute. I know you want to do it without a plugin, but using the redirection plugin is the easiest way I know of.
Thank you for the guidance. I read somewhere that htaccess is probably the safest so I will go with that.
