Hello BHW,

I saw so many high domain authority websites with even less then 500 traffic per month, are those website to rank other websites?

I'm talking about GuestPost websites

Something that has been commented in this forum quite a lot. DA means nothing.

Some people inflate their sites with cheap links that empower their DA but since they are completely useless their authority doesn't help improve their rankings.

Rankings are the only thing that you cannot fool (and sometimes even ranks are not useful CRO-wise, but still cannot be fooled).

Yes, most likely they are PBNs or inflated metrics to fool link buyers. Usually not a good long term strategy.

It's interesting that some PBN nowadays are ranking like mad to the point that they have become a major target of Google quality guidelines because you suddenly found a PBN ranking top 3 for a 100K/mo keyword with a feeble content+low-quality site (as they used to be).

Even worse, now many PBN creators are building guest-post-level sites but selling as PBN, because of this increasingly interest on adding value not only based on authoritativeness but the other SEO aspects.

I suspect that sooner than later, PBN links will be sold with a 5K visits/mo claim rather than DA30/TF30/RD100 metrics (still is obvious that numerous people care for metrics)

I would probably buy one of those links. If the seller would care enough to rank a PBN then he probably cares about outbound links not being trash. At that point it is not just a PBN but a niche site owned by a PBN seller, there's really not much difference. But the seller could get greedy and f it all up as an exit strategy (we have seen shit like this on here many times) haha.

For guest posts, they're not worth it.

If they don't have any search authority how then are they supposed to transfer some to your site through linking?

Only acquire linkes from sites with search traffic.

Thankyou so much guys for replying me.

Now I understand it is useless to increase DA if you don't have traffic.

You can search in the marketplace as many sellers are registered there. Alternatively, you can post in the "Want to Buy" section if you have customized requirements. You could mention that you're in search of Line IP and someone would ping you up.
Also, are you looking for datacenter IPs or dedicated ones? Any thoughts on using Mobile Proxies as they are the best.

If you find it easy to get traffic for this niche and can get the sites to earn money, then sure, go for it as there is always a market for profitable sites.

In my experience with websites like those, you may want to reach to your competitors and sell if they'd be interested in purchasing.

Some of the bigger ones might be interested just:
- to get rid of certain competition.
- use the site for link juice/content.
- control part of that market.

Only because downloading cracked games is against ToS/illegal and it'd be hard finding an average buyer for that.

These websites belongs to PBN. Somehow have value for guest post.

DA is just a metric and when you see people selling DA 50+ Metrics for $100 you should understand how valuable it is.
Cheers

When it comes to guest posts, traffic is an appropriate metric to consider. The DA does not have any value since it can be easily manipulated. There was a lot of discussion about this topic in the forum. Third-party metrics are easily manipulated.

DA is just a third party metric that has no impact on Google. However it can be a good indicator to check the quality of the website in terms of content and potential.

Here I am talking about natural DA and not the artificially inflated DA.

If you ever plan to by a backlink from a high DA website, make sure to check their backlink profile first and make sure their DA is not fake / artificially inflated.

Coming back to your question - Yes, sites that have high DA can have low traffic. But as I already said, you can buy backlinks from such sites provided they have real DA and fake one.
