High DA or PA = no-brainer purchase?

I'm coming to you with a simple question:

How high should DA (Domain Authority) be for an expired domain for you to consider it a no-brainer purchase, regardless of niche?

How about PA (Page Authority)?

For me, it's over 70 in terms of DA. I'm not that big on PA myself.

depends on budget, purpose and RDs. In general, everything above 20 DA is worth considering IMO
 
You should analyze the backlinks to see how good they are. That's what counts - good backlinks.

Metrics can be easily manipulated. You don't know if a previous domain owner did that to the domain. For very little money you can use fiverr or some other service to pump up DA/PA (and other metrics like DR). It really is that easy and cheap to do. I know for a fact ;)
 
For a respectable DA, it should be at least 30, but because DA can be manipulated in various ways, blog traffic is a more crucial consideration.
 
For me it has consistent moz, ahrefs and semrush. If it's not, it's artificially inflated. I know semrush calls it ds instead of da. More or less something.

Max for expired domain can be 20 to 30 DA PA Max 10 to 1 8
 
A good domain will have ahrefs DR>30, semrush DA>20, majestic DA & PA>30.
 
I would filter out anything below DA 20 and start from there
 
DA depends on you 20+ is fine too. But along with DA, you should check Referring domains and backlinks.
 
Mostly DA 20+ looks good with less expensive.

I'm not an expert on expired domains but generally, it's well known that metrics can be manipulated, Google does not rank according to metrics.

Knowing those two, should let you know that DA is not as important as you make it. What's more important is the kind of links, relevance of links, and the quality of those links.
 
It depends on your budget. As advised by the above members 20+ will be fine. But don't just consider DA. You can also check the relevance, history, and backlinks of the domain.
