High DA do follow easy links worth getting?

Reading a lot of SEO articles online, they sometimes mention profile backlinks on high DA sites like Hubspot or online directories. Are any of these worth it, that you do for almost every site you build?

I used BrightLocal for the 30 citations and have all the major social media accounts, but I feel like there are a lot more out there that I'm losing an opportunity by not spending 5 minutes to claim.

Side question: Should I use a service to get more than the 30 citations? MozLocal? something else?

I feel that these high DA sites have benefit only because you can send tiered links to these do follow properties. So if you can build a relevant type foundation link then it is worth it but not any single link will provide much benefit. Look at link building like a piggy bank keep adding pennies .

Side question: Personally I would build out as many citations as possible starting with the HQ first then move on as your budget permits.

Do you have any recommendations on citation building services? BrightLocal seems to have the most, but MozLocal seems like it does a better job at the few it does.

I've used WhiteSpark for citation building, but I had never purchased citations prior to that, so now curious what others think. I've seen CitationBuilder Pro mentioned before, and they seem to be cheap, anyone ever use them?

I should probably give reviews of the 2 I used since im the one asking for help.

Moz Local:
Used it for 2 years and it got the location on all the sites it listed with 100% accuracy. The problem was it took a long time (several months) and it was only a handful of citations. Most were ones you want to do yourself manually like Facebook.

BrightLocal:
Used it 1 time for one location to 30 citations that I chose. Of the 30, I already had the most important ones, but it said I didn't (bing, facebook). Also of the 30, I only got 22, but I already had like 4 so really only 18. And of the 18, some were already there because the info that they gave me was not what I submitted. When I contact support, they said they only guarantee 70%, which I didn't get and they didn't care. Even still, you can blast out to 100 citation sources for like $150. Probably better to use this one for a brand new business that doesn't exist.

Profiles on these high DA sites aren't going to move the needle much, but are good as buffer sites. I also use them regularly for my reputation management clients.

They're good for branding since you don't want others taking your sites name.

I feel quality is determined by the person. If those are the two you want to go with I would go with who offers more. But I never used Moz hope this helps

how many for local niche real estate is suggested?
