I know there are similar threads, but they are old

What are the best WP CTR themes as of 2013 ? Some people actually say they get higher CTR with nice looking and clean themes...

I personally have better ctr on blog themes that aren't silly fancy where the ads stand out like sore thumbs. Try basic black and white themes, there are tons of basic themes available for free.

Themes with solid backgrounds (ie black or white or some solid color) are the best ones.

Do you remember back on 2005 all of the sites? All had some random pic or photo as background and you couldn't even whatever was written there
