Hey everyone,
I've been encountering an issue lately that's left me scratching my head, and I'm hoping some of you might have some insights or experiences to share.
I've been running ads on Facebook, and despite creating what I believe are unique and engaging video ads sourced from platforms like YouTube and TikTok, I'm consistently seeing a high CPM.
So, my question is: How does Facebook determine that the content I'm using isn't unique, resulting in this high CPM? Is there some way Facebook detects duplicate content or flags certain videos as not being original, even if they are?
I'm puzzled because I've put effort into creating fresh, attention-grabbing content, yet I'm still facing high costs in reaching my audience. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, have you found any strategies to mitigate it or improve ad performance despite Facebook's apparent detection of non-unique content?
Any insights, experiences, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

In my opinion, you should create a lot of advertising content to test which content is effective. And always monitor the indicators on ads so you can control them

In my experience, there are 2 factors that affect your CPM:
1. File of audiences. Make sure you update it regularly, because once a file of customers has been exploited, it will cause a higher CPM than a new file of customers. Try launching 3 campaigns with 3 different budgets and customer files
2. Account quality. Try changing to a new account, with a higher or lower limit depending on you.

You should create some more articles about new video content with higher quality and creativity

What niche ads are you running? Usually, if the CPM is high, in addition to your ads not being attractive enough, it's also because you have the wrong target, the wrong time to advertise, or the frequency of your ads.

I think Video Matching Technology is a tool for Facebook to detect duplicate content or copied from other platforms, video quality will be evaluated according to the amount of interaction, which means if your video is less interactive and many negative comments, CPM will increase
you can adjust high resolution videos, use special effects to make videos unique, adjust target audience to find groups of users with lower CPM but still highly engaged
