I would love to see the stats though.
However, if it's really as amazing as you say it is, then it would be better used as a money site in the tech niche. At least that's what I would do. I always use the strongest domains I find for money sites.

Realistically, I would choose & run with option 2. Given the minimal amount of stats you referenced, it shouldn't be hard to rank, and gain traffic once you start posting articles.
