Heres how the dash looks with 175k impressions/day = 60k page views = £3 earnings!

To me, I've solved the traffic problem but that RPM is killing me. I tried other ad providers such as Chitika and they pay even less.

Seems to me either I need a better ad provider or some way to improve the RPM (or any suggestions from you guys here). Clicks are all in the single digits. Its spread over a few sites.

Looks odd, but it's not even possible for us to see/guess your RPM on that screenshot...

Edit:
What kind of website is this (niche)?
What are your traffic sources?

I'm asking because it sure looks like popup or auto-traffic if not even bots...

thats too weird. may I know what is your niche? and blog/web language?

While it remains a burden to sedulously avoid it, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control.

The RPM is the blue line at the bottom, it starts off high then flatlines between £0.01 and £0.05. There are several sites contributing to this chart. They are using a Digg style system to fill news teasers from other sites via timed RSS. These stories link back to the origin site. All have niche subjects, so from reading round here on this excellent site it sounds like I've created an automated PBN with each site having its own niche like health, mobile games, fashion etc. Spammers can also create news stories merged in with these RSS ones, seems they are very busy filling with their promotions. I suspect the spammers are the main contributers in fact. Also the SEO of each is terrible but they are in the google index because the "site:example.com" search does produce results. Don't want to list any actual site names atm. Hey, sincere thanks for your interest with this guys!

Guys, still can't believe I'm serving around a million impresions every 3 days and just getting peanuts back.

Heres more info - the sites are being managed by Revive adserver. This is the current stats report for the aggregate: http://postimg.org/image/o0qo30xmj/

I'd understand if Google thought the sites were invalid but they don't - they just hit them with an insanely low rpm. There are 3 adsense ads per page, 3 from Chitika and 2 are custom ones promoting other websites. Oh, one is Clickbank for a health product - an idea I got from this very site which I'd never heard of before - yay! Thanks. But ... thats paid 0 from half a million impressions in the 2 weeks since I set it up, according to Revive, from 17 clicks.

Finally, having said all that right now even with this crap performance the whole setup of hosting costs, doman name renewals and I guess minor admin is covered by the returns. In other words, I'm just about breaking even...

Im testing my viral content blog also with adsense (facebook traffic) (3 ads per page), getting 1-2k impressions, no earnings at all... I mean... I shouldve had some clicks right? Or am I missing something. Does adsense block facebook traffic or smthin?

According to the AdSense dashboard my daily impressions are 175k and clicks are between 1 and 5 :-(
I also expect more because the Ads shown are usually nothing to do with the site but the visitors interest history. Search for lawnmowers, visit a medical site and you see ads for garden products. I know that's not always the case but for me visitng these site it seems to happn more often than not. Hence you'd exet more click as G thinks its serving you somethng relevant.

Another big "whilst I'm here" wihch might add a clue to this - these sites have a huge banner at the top whining about adblockers which comes up if you're using one, and some site functionality (e.g. creating an account) is blocked until the user adds the site to their adblocker.

so what are you planning to do? I'm becoming frantic when i see zeros on the RPM statistics, same happened with revenuehits - some impressions, some clicks, no revenue.. Im clearly doing something wrong

Err, I'm planning to act on any suggestions I get here :-)

Hi bdam ,

Did you got any achievement or found solution to this.. i am also in merely you situation.. having more than 5k impression per day and hardly few cents per day..
