Hiding trackbacks in the comment?

Hello BHW masters,

Is there anyway to hide trackbacks in my blogs comment section? thanks in advance for the help...

Tools>Discussions - Uncheck 'Allow link notifications from other blogs'

You can also go to the comments.php page and comment out or totally delete the lines of code that is used to display trackbacks.

This won't remove the trackbacks right? it will just hide it?

By the way I am using wordpress... thanks ^_^

I'm looking for trackbacks excerpts file so i can get ideas how to spin title and comment section, try to look for site with trackbacks links so i can get an idea how to set up the excerpts, most of the site i hit they were hidden

In wordpress also same thing. Uncheck "notifications from other blogs". It will hide the trackbacks in the comment.
