Hey guys, I've researched about hiding the referrer from your Network, but I can't seem to grasp it.

If you're using a content locker, how would you hide the page that your using the content locker on, from your network?

You would use a redirect script that will blank the referrer first before sending it to your offer link.

Here's an example of a site using the method above:

    anonym.to

Any idea how I would go on choosing my own sites for the referrer instead of anonym.to?

Anonym.to and similar sites are doing simple javascript redirect, where 3 of 5 main browsers will leak your real referrer (occasionally). On your sites, you need CPA-R. Google it, you have standalone version for regular sites and wordpress version 6.2 for wordpress installations.

CPA-R is for redirecting though. I'm using a content locker, so I don't think CPA-R will affect it, as the survey opens on that specific webpage when clicked, and that's what appears on the CPA Networks list.

    You asked this
"Any idea how I would go on choosing my own sites for the referrer instead of anonym.to"

from my experience, with cpa-r your site would be referrer. Even if that is not a point in this case, many people are doing it, its better to show to cpa company whitehatsite.com from where traffic is coming, instead of blackhatspamsite.com from where the real traffic is actually coming (probably. sorry if wrong). Blanking referrer is actually much worse for them, almost a sure sign for them that you are doing something ...not supported.
if blanking is ok, suggestion above is good, https to http is making it blank 100 %.

My traffic is legit. It's from google/youtube. It's just that my site is not legit, and I don't want the network to find out I'm placing a content locker on a site that's against their terms. So I want to cover this up. Do you know how I would go off doing this?

Cloaking would be an option, but you would need to know reviewer's data in order to show them same page but without content locker. So, nothing is 100 % efficient and safe, whatever some people here claims. Some geo targeting can be done, and script to work just in certain time frames, as well as percentage sampling (for example just 30 of 100 visitors to see content locker page) but at the end everything is risky.

When going from HTTPS to HTTP, most browsers don't set the referer field.

Which is a technique google uses....you redirect from your site to some https redirector, then redirect again to http and it won't show the referer.....

    Hope this helps ;)

Surely there has to be another way?

The thing is, I want to hide the page that the content locker is located on from the Network.
Also, my content locker leads to a download page on my site.

Is it impossible to somehow prevent the network from seeing the page?

    I'm using... http://fakereferer.com/

It costs like $1 per URL that you want to fake referer to, but you can use twitter/fb/google etc. as your referer. Perfect for CPA offers.
