Hey guys,

one seller is telling his customers, that IG will hide the likes by end of the year globally.

I dont read any news about this happen globally by end of the year. Do you have more informations about that??

I hate this guy telling his customers soo much shit all the time.

The holiday season is at full swing and our Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals have been a massive success. Unfortunately, Instagram has had problems over the thanksgiving period with instability issues. Thankfully they have fixed it and hopefully we won’t see anymore downtime.

The latest update in December is upon us and the likes counter will be removed globally by the end of the year. Fear now, our Powerlikes will still help your post go viral on the explore, location & hashtag pages, it only negative is that your users will not be able to see how many likes you have received. Studies have revealed that you will receive up to 30% less interaction with your posts after the likes counter has been removed. Luckily for us, we have released a new service for the latest updates which fixes this. Its called ‘Hyper Priming’ and it’s been a huge success.

IG is already hiding likes globally on many accounts. They expanded their hiding likes experiment from US to worldwide a couple of weeks ago.

It was all over the media and no sign that IG will scale back. As in the past, they will most likely continue to expand this initiative.
 
It was probably wiser to use may/might instead of "will", because it's not officially confirmed but it's very likely.
 
Where did you read the worldwide news? I only know from US. But it seems like in germany too..
 
Just google. It was on CNET, TechCrunch, CNN pretty much everywhere on Nov 14 & 15.
 
They started to hide likes globally days ago but in my country likes are fully visible
 
My instagram account like number goes already. It's look strange when we see the post..
 
I heard it's now just in few countries like a BETA version, but i don't think so they will introduce for everyone it
 
UK here and likes are hidden for some accounts but not all.

On the same phone you can switch between accounts and look at the same page - whilst logged in on one account you see likes, whilst logged in on the other you don't...

As far as I can tell here when you are not logged in likes always show - however if you log in via browser using an account that can't see likes on the app you also will not be able to see them in the browser!
 
They had first attempted hiding fake likes in US. Seems like IG won't revoke from this plan to go global.
 
My account had likes hidden for two days and then now I can see likes again.
