does anyone know how many ips.. you get... with hidemyip.com.

I am asking about the $30 version and the premium version... ??

I'd be very interested in knowing this. Does anyone have any experiences with hidemyip? positive or negative. I've been thinking about purchasing them or iprental. Any other suggestions?
 
If its for Craigslist, I heard pretty much all the IPs are soft-blocked using hidemyip

The FAQ answers a lot of questions:
How many different IP addresses can I get with Hide My IP?

We currently have three sets of IP addresses: Open Network, Standard, and Premium IP addresses. We have around 150 Open Network IPs at any given moment, these IPs are updated every hour and may be slower than the other IPs. Standard, and Premium IP addresses are owned and managed by us and are faster than Open Network IPs, with the highest speed reserved for Premium Service subscribers. We currently have over 60 Standard and 150 Premium IPs. We are always adding more Standard and Premium IPs every few weeks.

I used this for awhile it works very well for basic things.
There's a nice interface that allows you to select IP's and from what countries. But you should not trust this service for anything blackhat.
It will not conceal you that securely.

So what is? I was thinking of getting this too.
 
anonymous proxies for hard core down and dirty BH projects.

Hidemyip is good for surfing "hot" sites (underground spam forums, hacker sites)
that might be targets of law enforcement surveillance and you can easily disguise the IP of your pc while checking out those underground sites.
 
HideMyIp is OK, but it did not in the past offer decent encryption (that may have changed) and it required admin access and full installltion to run. I use IDC these days as it has top class encryption and runs from a USB stick if you like (ie you can take it with you and run it from many locked down PCs without problems).....

Used them for quite a long time now. Costs more than basic HideMyIp, but I think less than premium and it offers more than premium does I believe.
