Hello Guys,

Is anybody using hidemyassVpn instead of private proxies ? What is your opinion on either. Ive just subscribed to HMA on Senuke but im wondering if i subscribe for the 1year version instead of the monthly version.

Your opinion counts becos it will effective helps members of the forum decide on what is best to prevent spamming complaint and IP blockage.

I will also post my review on this tools in few weeks time.

Hi,

It really depends on what you need it for. If you just want to change your IP a few times a day, then HMA is your tool of choice. This will stop complaints to your ISP and IP blocking. It provides a fast stable connection, which you will hardly notice is there. It's a top-notch service.

If, however, you need to use a different IP every few seconds (eg. for pinging, blog commenting, twitter activities) then you will need private proxies.

A friend of mine still using hidemyass, he recommended me before.. Yes its top notch! So i can say HMA is very good option from my point of view & my usage, but don't know how it will be for your usage :) ..

Thanks,
Bart

HMA is good for some things, but not everything. For example, if you try and open a new ebay account, it's not a good idea. However, using it for email accounts, it will be fine.

I went with HMA first and ended up switching to private later. HMA seemed to be blocked on some things sometimes.

You can't compare HMA with Private Proxies because we are talking about 2 different services. With HMA you'll share your IP address with all the rest of the customers, on the other hand with private proxies you will have the IP addresses only for you.

HMA is awesome, if you want to say go signup manually for something and not use your IP its very effective. It's also great to test things - for example see how things look in other countries, or on slower connections. And some people write programs to interact with it. It also changes the IP for all applications on your computer at once and not just the program/browser your working in.

But if you want to say go make 50 accounts with a tool you probably want private proxies. Pretty much if your using tools you will want to use private proxies.

Depend on what's your needs and what's tools do you use.
If you use it for prevent spamming complaint and IP blockage.that HMA is really not a wise decision, for that IP this shared by all HMA user.
Private proxies usual use it for multi-account and multi-thread,mainly use for SEO or social media auto tools.you can read this site get more about that.

yes like mrtornado said, u can't compare them.. they have different purpose although u can use it for same purpose in a way

What exactly are you looking to use each with? Like mrtornado said, they are two completely different things. I have used HMA and really liked the service. It was simple to use and great for my email account creations.

It really depends on intent.

Here's my proxy break down (I pay for all 4 services):

ProxyGo (BHW) - daily public proxy vendor: link building tools

SquidProxies.com - When I need to go "hard core" and need super fast proxies for link building. Also, I hate having to re-load proxies every day, so I mix & match Private + ProxyGo's proxies.

TrustedProxies.com - Rank Checking (that's it -- I use their package of high speed Google SERP Scraping proxies)

HideMyAss - General use and as required

for general stuff hidemyass works i use it when scraping emails. but for stuff like CL and the like, i would not recommend since they are abused.

Hidemyass is not good for private job and i see those ip is blocked after few time. And other problem is with speed. So Private proxy is the best option.

Well HMA is good for using lots of IPs, but slow to change IPs. I sometimes use "SafeIP" for proxy IPs to change quickly - I only like it since its free and reliable with enough IP variety for my use. ;)

I've been using HMA for over a year now, I'd say just don't use US IPs as maximum number of people use US IPs.
Rest the tool is great, but private proxies are always better.

I've always liked HMA. Simple, effective and free. What's not to like?

HMA sucks dont get it. They block account quick not good for seo at all.
