hidemyass VPN how does it work?

How does it work? Can i use seo tools there and every time i want i can change my ip adress? I am right?>

Yeah, set it to get a new IP like every 10 mins. If you're not posting that much, set it to a longer delay like 60 mins. The more often it changes IP, the more often it screws up re-connecting.
 
I've found a lot of HMA IPs to be banned on Google recently. Maybe some people use one IP a little too much and/or I'm just unlucky to find them.

The one major downside of HMA is the time it takes to change IP. Apart from that it's decent software.
 
Be sure and disable flash etc or your info can leak through anyway. My own experience with HMA is that it's iffy/buggy and some of the proxies are sloooooow
 
I can verify that all of the above is true, HMA's proxies have been spammed to death. Many sites including Google have banned almost all traffic from their IPs.
 
Do not touch Hydemyass if you are going to use their proxies for SEO. For a start their proxies are not anonymous. Secondly they are extremely slow or banned by google and most websites. Thirdly, if you get reported (which will be the case if you use it for any of the SEO software that we all use on a daily basis) your account will be cancelled and they don't do refunds. A few people I know have lost money with Hydemyass because they disconnected their account and refused to refund them their money.
 
The frequent disconnects/auto-reconnects are a major security problem with hidemyass because each time this happens your REAL ip address is revealed without you even knowing it happened. Hidemyass advertises 3000+ ip addresses but you are only able to connect to only 2 or 3 data centers that are close by. Hide my ass are a victim of their own success, they have WAY too many customers using their limited resources.
 
I would not recommend the use of HMA as they are no longer reliable in what they are meant to do (hiding your as-s). See TOR for a much more reliable vpn faking service.
 
Damn, I wish I would have read this thread before signing up for a year with hma the other day! Not sure exactly how I'm planning on using the vpn yet but it was definitely going to be with seo tools. The second IP I picked was banged from google. Haven't seen another problem IP yet but that's def a red flag.

This happened to me. Stay away from them.
 
If you are looking for a decent VPN... i would suggest AirVPN.... they keep no logs and you can pay with bitcoins.

And if you use a VPS and just install OpenVPN on it.... then i'd suggest a VPS provider who is loose with the rules. Like VPS6
