you need to use a proxy or a bnc.
Open mIRC options menu
then goto:
Connect > Firewall >
Firewall support: Server
Protocol: socks4
host name: put proxy IP here
user id: prob leave blank
password: prob leave blank
port: put proxy port here

Tried this.
But all that I do try and they are supposed to work, gives me the error "Firewall: unable to conntect trough firewall"
Any ideas?

if you're trying undernet, socks proxies have been out of commission there for a while now...
