Hi, I just joined but I have been aware of this forum for a couple years. I just had my work contract significantly reduced to the point where I need to find a new source of income. I had my contract for five years, and I was able to work from home without having to talk to anyone over the phone and rarely had to interact with anyone.
The reason I am telling you all this is because I have severe social anxiety, and I was actually diagnosed with depression several years ago. I am considering applying for disability, and my mom and others think it is a good idea. However, I need to make money in the meantime as I heard it can take years to get approved for disability.
I would like to find an online job I can do like before where I didn't have to talk to anyone. The people I work for are actually family friends who know how I am, so that's why this job worked out so well. I am really sad that the contract had to get reduced (not because of me, but because it wasn't generating any revenue). My job responsibilities varied, but recently it was to rewrite news articles. I am still doing this, but it is only a couple articles a day versus many with better pay.
If you know of any jobs I can do like this where the employer would be understanding of my social anxiety, please let me know. I am good at rewriting articles and copywriting. Thank you, and I look forward to learning more about making money online.
