Hi,I'm Tita,a disabled housewife (Newbie),and,I want to be taught from the ground up . I've come across SO from Facebook invites messages,spam in my emails and,I have no idea where to start . I've read about getting into this for free but,a lot seems fishy and everything asks for money at the very end of "free" videos ,pitches,etc.Help anyone?Thanks so much!

Hi,thanks lbstar,I'm completely new to this and have no idea what to do or where to start �� I'm a simple stay at home wife we're both disabled and I'm looking for something that feels like it'll take beyond a miracle to bring in some extra income to our family .I don't know what's real or a scam or anyone to turn to ,to help me learn how to do something in this industry.I just know I need to find something to do from home to help financially.
 
Hello TITA! Just by looking how you elaborately respond to a one-liner welcome post, it looks like you could be great at writing articles.

Take your time and read through this section of the forum to grasp the idea of how peoples make money from Internet. Ignore all the sales pitches, "free videos", all this nonsense. It's all crap, 99% are scams. It's up to you to do research, everything you would need to know is free online. Don't fall for the endless IM scams online.
 
Hi Tita, welcome to this world. I am giving you some ideas, hope these will help you :

1) You can earn money buy providing services to freelancing marketplaces like oDesk, Elance, Freelancers etc. I am seeing that you are good in writings, so you can provide article writing services.
2) As you already said, you have gig in Fiverr, update your gig details so that it contains proper quality, also promote them through as much platforms as possible.
3) If you have knowledge of web development or graphic design, you can sell your items at Envato Marketplace.
4) you can earn through blogging, create a blog with topic in which you are interested. Monetize it with Google adsense and earn money.
5) You can earn through affiliate marketing. Create a video, write short description of your affiliate product and post it in Youtube. Then promote it to get first page ranking, once you get first page ranking you will get some conversion definitely.

Do you consider yourself an expert on any topic? Do you know something really good? I am asking this because I always need wrietrs that know some topics inside-out or interested in a topic more than a "regular" person
 
I give you a solid advice, READ READ READ. Don't do anything, just read and learn.
Like read for a month or two, everything what is here, observe and learn from other mistakes an success.

I read a lot online , I also used to write a lot in school for family and friends (Papers,poetry and , such) . I used to be in vacation sales and management before becoming disabled . I tend to research a lot of things topics vary by what I'm interested in . So far , it's looking like maybe article writing is my best asset . Again , thank you for all the responses , I read them all and try to respond to the informative ones .
 
Hello there, everyone started as a newbie, in one way or the other. Just ensure you read and read enough tutorials about what you can offer, and how to offer it to the public, then you can come home to BHW and ask any problem you encounter on the way..

As you can see, BHW is one big family.
 
Just don't end up like some of the members on here who have paralysis analysis
 
Welcome aboard TITA2013! I saw that you really have a good writing skills and experience. If I would suggest you start with article writing service, blogging about topics you love the most and have good knowledge of it, and do kindle publishing. I prefer kindle though because it's relatively easy for 'born to be' writers and provide long term income if you really go into it. :)

If you're going to start article writing you will definitely have to work on your punctuation. Put a space after a period or a comma but don't put one in front of them. It makes your writing look very childish and sloppy.

Hi Tita, welcome aboard! You should start reading about SEO and blogging. You can earn through writing articles for blog and seo service.
