Hoi hoi there,
I have frequented these forums many many times, some of the hints and directions it gave me I have found to be invaluable. Quick history: programmer (PHP, Java, Ruby, MySQL etc.). I have dabbled in creating some software (in-house only) including an auto-poster. I have set-up a successful site that at one point supported me ~$3000mo, done my own back linking and optimizing, tried out some services, dabbled in reputation management (some good successes), fiddled with some software and have some experience using the "tools of the trade".
I basically want to make a living out of this. I know it is possible, F#$^&* I've even been there (although sometimes I lack faith myself). I just know I am missing some pieces of the puzzle. Instead of being a silent observer from now on I intend to post my failures, successes, share my ideas and strategies and hope that the initial spark of "ah-ha" that I got here will turn into a flame of wisdom. In that same thought I hope my additions to this community will help to align others to that realization of "holy s$%^ , I can do this!".
Looking forward to meeting like-minded peoples!
