So, I picked up copywriting through sites like Textbroker a few years back as a bit of extra cash outside of my regular job (welding). Last month, as coronavirus started to slap us all about it, I lost my job and with my country (UK) in lockdown, finding a new one isn't an easy prospect.
So I got up early on my first day of unemployment, signed up to a bunch of copywriting sites (iWriter, Scripted, UpWork) and have been eeking enough to pay the bills ever since.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love this. I would spend 10 hours a day writing all kinds of random stuff for the equivalent of $0.015 per word before I'd go back to welding or fixing gearboxes or any of the other mind boring manual jobs I've had...
...buuut it would be nice if I could make that closer to 5 hours a day, or even less.
So the advice I'm looking for: I feel like an Amazon site would be best suited to my ability. I can rattle a 1000 word product review off in a half-hour or so, good enough for 5 stars on iWriter's Elite+ tier for what that's worth.
Obviously, I'm going to be doing a lot of digging through the posts here before I start my own site, but if anyone knows of any good links off the top of their head that they'd like to share, I'd greatly appreciate it. Or if I'm way off going down the Amazon site route, let me know.
