Hi guys, my first post. I've been creeping around and decided to sign up!

I was wondering if there is any way to earn income from Tumblr?
I currently have a Tumblr account with a niche and have almost 2k dedicated followers who are active every day. I also have a domain name/website linked to this Tumblr, but it's not been doing so well so I haven't really updated it or anything. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Tumblr is like wordpress or blogspot. You can easily sign up for adsense but the payout won't be great. Possibly $4-5 / day. Alternatively, you can sign up for other affiliates (cj, linksynergy) and find targeted ads. I like amazon affiliates also. Once you get approved, you can begin placing ads onto your site.

Depending on the niche you can as has been said try to monetize the page by using Adsense ads.

Some other options are:

CPA offers - Targeted for your niche of course
Clickbank products - Same as above
Amazon affiliate - I wouldn't personally use this, but I guess the conversion rate would be higher, because of the reputation Amazon carries along.

Anyways, I reckon you've been keeping your followers busy with non commercial things, otherwise I'd prepare them a bit by just doing fun/related shares with which you make nothing, you shouldn't bombard your page with CPA offers/clickbank products right off the bat.
