I have been online for about 21 years now. Started out gaming. Ultima Online. Purchased my first domain name in 2001. I had to send in a paper check. I then went to sell that domain in my first domain flip.
I went on to do many other things from flipping websites to becoming an author of sorts. I have succeeded and I have failed. Oh boy have I failed. Made xxxx a week and have lost xxxx a week. I then gave up and ended up getting a 9-5.
Covid hit my 9-5 went under due to lack of parts coming in. They closed up shop and that was that. I was no longer employed. I was given no notice it was just one day I came in and sorry see you you do not work here anymore. I live in a smallish town. 30k people or so. Rural type of setting. Jobs are kind of hard to come by so this was a setback for me.
I revisited some of the things I knew and hated. I looked over them before but the effort versus reward was so horrible I would never have considered it before. Well, so I revisited them. They still suck but I can average about 6.00 an hour or more. 6.00 an hour is NOT much but it is enough to stay afloat. In the meantime, I am also on the downtime doing things I love. I started a website to document my experience. Not for me or for money but to eventually help out others. I love caring and loving websites. At one time I had over 200. Domains were all hosted @ namecheap ofc. Had my own server to host them on. So it makes it a lil more worthwhile to actually have some of my beermoney to pay for something I love.
Anyway, I saw the journey section here and figured for prosperity purposes and advice I could start a journey here and people can help me with my journey.
TLDR: I am happy to be here and plan on starting a journey here.
