I can't remember how long I'm been lurking about (it's been years) but I finally signed up for an account over the summer with the goal of actually contributing. I'm a bit of an introvert, but I actually feel at home here.
I'm a freelance writer by trade, and like everyone else, I'm looking to make more money. My plan is to start creating e-books and release them on Amazon and Clickbank. Look out for an IM Journey thread from me in the near future.
I've spent a lot of time reading, researching and taking notes, which has been both a blessing and a curse. So many people get stuck at this stage in the process that they freeze up, perpetually waiting for the right time to pull the trigger. I know Wordpress, have a tiny bit of coding knowledge (CSS and PHP) and have enough marketing experience to pull it off. Now it's time for that final push.
So, I'm finishing up my first short e-book this weekend. It's being published on Monday morning because, well, I've been working on it since June. We're talking less than 10k words altogether. I just try to think about all of the potential money I've missed out on because of an illogical fear of failure, and use that to push forward.
Anyways, I hope to be able to provide helpful information whenever possible even if I don't post a whole lot. Feel free to ask questions or stop by to say hello.
