Hi, I need general help/advice on making some extra $.

I don't even know if this is going to work or not, but I came here in order for help and to contribute back as I learn. I do realize money doesn't come out of thin air and comes with hard word/dedication. I don't expect to see results over night, all though...that would be nice. While browsing through these types of threads on all types of forums I found some of the methods, and theories behind them. I've tried executing a few, but honestly I don't know where to go with any of them or I feel like I'll make a mistake. In other words I'll be honest. It's Christmas time in 3 days, and my family is in shambles and I can't afford to get a single one of them a gift or anything even after Christmas at the moment. So all I am asking is for help.

I know you can look through threads, and all that. I don't mean any disrespect to any one, but looking at 100 different things while at first glance is a bit misleading and can be overkill. I'm not turned off from it, but I'm just seeking guidance or tips on how to get started. I am fairly desperate so I mean, anything at this point would help.

Thanks for helping in advance if you are nice enough to show some teachings and what not. I have nothing, but free time so I am willing to put in the work and stuff. Read some decent motivational posts here before joining as well. So...all help is appreciated. I really just want to know where to get started and try some stuff out I guess that can produce a little bit of money....Thanks again....

Like everything, IM takes time. Keep reading and trying new methods. Eventually things will click.

One of the most import things to remember is that there is really is no such thing as easy money.
Everything takes some sort of work and time.

I recommend cpa for starters. I'm still new to IM and so far that's where I've had a lot of early success.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation but if you're in need of money fast, better get an offline job, especially if you don't know much IM.
IM takes time to master; tons of time and dedication.
You have to stick to one 1 method and twist it, study it, understand it, understand everyhting that does not work for you and figure out something that might work. And then fail or success. It's really a game of understanding what you put your feets into.

Your first goal shouldn't be making money but MASTERING what you're doing. Once you feel comfortable and understand every aspect of the method you chose, it should be easy to monetize; but that's the bonus part.

I can tell you can write well. Maybe that's a start - There is plenty of demand for good writers.

Thanks for the nice replies so far guys. I'm working on getting an offline job to sustain for Christmas and a little after(Hopefully), but still gonna be a little off edge for a while. So I looked into this stuff and felt a semi-immediate connection. I get the time and dedication deal, and I have nothing but just that left. So I mean I can do a lot of basic computer stuff, but I suppose I need to just find something I feel right in and make it work.

Skill wise all I was ever good at as a kid was writing, and until now probably about the same.

At this point I'm unsure of what to pursue and what to turn to, but I'll just keep my head up and stay positive. Thanks again guys. I'll do some research on a few things, and just go from there.

How many of those methods have you actually REALLY tried?
Choose 3 methods and work all out at them.
You won't start making money until you take some form of action.
If you can't make a decision on what to try then you will find IM hard work.

If you want money TODAY knock around doors and offer grass cutting / window cleaning / car cleaning services.
If you want a future then you come to I.M

Pick something you enjoy doing and then look for methods based around that.

No athlete goes to the olympics because they love sports, They go because they love running, jumping, swimming, throwing .... get what I'm saying?

There are many ways to twist to this method. You can even try buying stuff from CL and sell it on ebay. It's your choice. But be sure to commit to the method. Otherwise you're just going to be bouncing from one method to the other.

I'm in the same boat as you, have nothing but time, dedication, and willingness to learn, it's just starting off as a noob with IM is proving to be pretty difficult. A lot of things go over my head or people will list steps and it will go something like '... 2. create an account at xyz 3. sign up for their affiliate program 4. make a social profile with a large following of your chosen niche and upload viral videos relating to it...' and it's like well damn, there goes my attempt at that method. Anyways just thought I'd stop in to wish you luck as we both start out fresh.
