I'm a small business owner in the US. I started out with a general business background, and moved more into the tech world. Since starting my own business, I have pretty much handled all the marketing stuff myself. I rely heavily on PPC, and when I have tried to outsource it a couple times, I'm never satisfied with the results. I know people know a lot more than me about internet marketing, but I know enough about it, and I know enough about my business, and I care about it more than anyone else such that I find it works better with me managing it. At least that I've tried so far.
I sought this board out because generally, I'm getting ready to expand my marketing significantly and especially into some areas that would benefit more from black hat techniques but specifically because I posted a request on the Warrior forum that the admins deleted and said they don't allow the discussion of that there. I assumed that would topic would be OK here, but then when I posted on it, I was tipped off that it would get me in trouble here, too. But there are paid forums here that I could discuss those techniques, and that I could be invited to those areas by posting here for a while and getting involved with the community.
Anyway, that's what I'm doing. I don't know exactly how to do that, because you all are far superior than I am at marketing techniques, so I don't know what value I bring to the discussion. But I would love to be a community member here and get involved. Thanks.
