Hi All,

I am joining BlackHatWorld, a website that I found again while I was looking for more information on CPA.
About myself, I am a 40yo guy from London, been working in construction for 10+years and been laid off recently.

I have tried in the past KDP, merch and dropshipping so I have a basic understanding of the concepts. I have never made more than a few quids and I have never been very keen to put much money (more than $200) in advertising for these but I may now as I am working in building some money. In these times at home.

What else? It is quite challenging for me to not rely on an employer to get a salary! :) So these are scary times.

Hope to learn much here!

@Mtx
@krishnaverma Yeah man I guess, that is why I am here. I still have a newbie mentality to be honest in that I think a lot before deciding to pay for thing that would help (like Facebook ads and other things).

To be completely transparent right now I am getting up to date in keyword research, affiliate marketing and CPA. I have applied for Adsense account through a WP food blog that I have. I am not clear right now if the main marketing strategy (to bring traffic) would be social media or fb/google ads.

Welcome, UK member here. Gorgeous weather we're having!
It seems that Earth is playing with us now that we are stuck at home.

Hi from India :D lol.. Welcome on board!
Yep I am onboard!

I am reading in the same time https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-build-and-earn-money-with-movie-trailer-site-and-publicly-available-videos-moviesite-guide.1218955/
A post about monetising a movie trailer website. It is simple and actionable. I will try it.

Hi from Australia mate. I am in a similar position to you. I've wasted a lot of money on different things in the past. I've been looking at amazon affiliate sites, also porn sites and service reseller sites to start building a bit of capital.
Look out for junior VIPs with good ratings and roll them dice

Best of luck!
Scotty

I run a similar site and I found in the beginning one of the best sources of traffic was Pinterest. If you can make the pin image stand out it will bring a steady influx of visitors...

Good to know
I was making quick calculations it would cost me ~140£ for the website including domain + 50£/month for some seo/ movie reviews if I don't do them myself.
Yeah I need to get into Pinterest because that's the second time I read it is a good source for traffic, alongside Instagram (I am too old to have a clue of Pinterest, I am not 'in' )

I get you. I also thought about porn because.. Who doesn't like porn? But it seems like a crowded market. Good tip on Junior VIPs.

Welcome to the forum mate and good luck.

Hi mate! I think we're on the same boat. I'm in the travel industry and it's taken a huge dive due to this pandemic. I did some adult niche around 2013 and when I got back, it's become more saturated than before! Maybe if you have a good game plan, perhaps it will be rewarding.

Right now, I'm trying the Mailchimp campaigns + landing page (almost free) then use most of my funds to make ads campaign on facebook. So far it's doing okay, not that great though - but the ROI is good. Right now I'm experimenting with ways to scale it.

think you should still hit up Lychnobius. He will get you on track for marketing at an amazing price. At the least, you should message him and get on skype.
I sing his praises a lot because I am battling and also new to all this and he has done a great job on walking me through all this.
I was in the military for 15 years. I don't give praise unless it is seriously deserved

Good luck, mate! Yeah, you will learn a lot from this forum. If you want to make money online, pick 1 thing that works for others, and master it. Even if you don't see results for months, keep doing it, keep learning new strategies etc. Buy a decent course about the skill you want to master and keep trying. Spend more time actually doing stuff, more than learning. Consistency is the key to success :)

Welcome. Im in south wales and a freelance quantity surveyor (on a 1 day a week retainer due to corona virus) so i know what the construction industry is like at the moment. I do kdp and autoblogging sites online.
Now is the time to pick something up and develop it. Good luck
