Hi Friends!

Hey guys-

About a month ago I started an experiment trying to see how many followers I could accumulate on Tumblr by manually running a handful of blogs; spending about 30 mins per day total. It started as a goof but I ended up with almost 10,000 followers in 30 days. I haven't made any real attempt to monetize yet but I have some ideas in the works (fiverr, teespring, etc). I just came across this board while doing some research on the imacros browser extension (which I'm hoping to learn more about, it's definitely time to either automate or shorten the daily workload) so right now I'm just excited to use the Search feature and take in everything I possibly can.

I'm interested in learning about building followings on other kinds social media platforms, affiliate marketing, or any way to make money online really. My goal is to create a passive income online to allow myself the freedom to travel and adventure around. Gonna work hard to make it happen. Really hoping to meet some like-minded people who are perusing the same goals, if anyone is interested in talking and sharing knowledge just hit me up!

Nope, I haven't. What would that involve? I really wasn't aware this entire world existed when I started with Tumblr, I just went with the social media platform I was most experienced with. I'd definitely be interested in learning.

It might take some time to get familiar with all the jargon used and to find ways to monetize your fanbase but you've come to the right spot.

Right, and the targeted part means your product is geared towards their interests or demographic I imagine.
