Finally made an account after finding this site recently and lurking for a few days. I also found out you need a minimum amount of posts for some actions so are there any recommended sub forums I could post in while contributing as a newcomer?

Welcome to BHW! Yes you need 15 quality post in order to PM other members and in order to unlock other features like a custom avatar you will need more post and at least one month or more on the boards.

Don't fret over post count and focus on high quality post. Everything else will take care of itself!
