I would like to say hey to everyone on the forum. My name is Penny Smith and I am here to know more about how to earn from home. I will also be sharing the Work From Home opportunities that I am currently in. Have a nice day.

This is an introduction post but you joined the forum almost exactly a year ago? Penny Smith sounds like one of the most generic names available. More than that, you're capitalizing and using abnormal keywords like "Work From Home" and "earn from home" that may also indicate that you have an agenda. Also, your profile picture is here and Google reverse image search recognizes it as "girl", a great generic keyword if you're looking for fake pictures of women.

Seems fishy. Apologies if I'm wrong.

If something seems weird, a couple minutes of digging will tell you if your suspicions are true. If OP didn't make an "introduction" post a year after joining the forum, I would have glossed over all the other tells.

I think I saw another person with the exact same pic trying to get people to join their pyramid scheme a couple months ago.
The most random people show up here sometimes, they probably look up internet forum and this shows up haha.
If you're legit then welcome, we don't do work from home stuff, we do internet marketing.
