Hi all (UK here)

Hi guys,

I'm Tim from the UK. I'm 40 and have been interested in ecommerce for some time now. I have had a couple of online stores before, including one back in 2004. I have been looking for a good online opportunity for a while and my ideal goal would be to be able to run one or a couple of online stores to enable me to make a decent income and possibly be able to travel and work at the same time.

I'm in the process of putting together an online POD-style store as my first "new" venture, but using WooCommerce instead of the ubiquitous Shopify. The main reason for this is to keep running costs down (I am a "reseller" for web hosting) and also to ensure that I own my own store, rather than be at the mercy of Shopify who I have heard can shut stores down for no reason at all and refuse to hand over product descriptions/images etc.

Anyway! I'm glad to be a member here and I'm hoping to learn a lot from people who really have been there and done it.
