I've been working in tech for the past 10 years mostly as an product manager but also a product manager and a bit as a front-end developer. A few years ago, I launched a startup which got up to 8,000+ users but didn't grow fast enough to raise a Series A and had to get a job afterwards.

I got laid off a few months back and really want to make enough just to survive so I can be a full-time digital nomad entrepreneur. I setup my life to be very low cost for now (although it's just basically putting my life on hold).

I'm transitioning between depressed/scared and optimistic things will work out in a reasonable amount of time on the entrepreneurship path again.

I can program some (have a computer science degree) and know networking/devops fairly well so I'm thinking of building/selling 4G proxies since I think I can learn that way faster than internet marketing.

However, I've got a friend in China (in Shenzhen area) who does ecommerce full-time who I can partner with. But I need to figure out what I can contribute well (since I've never done internet marketing or ecommerce before). If nothing else, I can open US bank accounts easily...
