Sup forum? I've been reading through a lot of dense threads the whole day today, so I finally decided to sign up for an account right here at BHW. Not going to lie, but the amount of information on here is overwhelming. While I do understand the whole notion of using the search tool and looking up the answers on my own, it would make a world of a difference if I was pointed in the right direction(s). My strength? Programming (C, HTML, some Java, Python, obj-C 2.0, and a little bit of PHP). Though I haven't gotten my bachelor's in computer science yet, I feel like I know enough to tackle basic functions with Python or something. There are apparently many methods of obtaining income from internet marketing. The one that I'm most peculiar to (for no discernible reason) is ClickBank. There's lots of jargon that I'm still unfamiliar with, but nothing like descriptive Google searches can't solve. I feel like I'm stretching this post a bit, so I'll stop rambling on and answer any questions if any arise.
Welcome to BHW. Information overload is normal. Just figure out what to do with that information and take action and you'll be well on your way
I envy you. i am dying to learn programming (php and similar languages) because i want to be more familiar with with web development. :S good luck!
Web development is not difficult. It's just boring to me in comparison to software development. Try reading the Head First series for PHP/MySQL. That series is great for people with minimum programming knowledge such as yourself. It has lots of pictures, exercises, and some lame geeky humor as well.
